COLDWATER COMMUNITY SCHOOLS BOND PROPOSAL 2021

BOND PROPOSAL INFORMATION

Vote by November 2, 2021!

WELCOME

Dear Coldwater Community,

On November 2, 2021, our community will vote on two bond proposals authorizing the school district to issue up to $67 million of bonds to allow the district to make improvements to our facilities.

Proposal 1 would modernize the high school and enhance the learning environment for students. A heavy renovation would address the building's needs, while an addition would relocate the main office and create a dedicated STEM/lab space for learning. The projects total $50 million and would be levied with no expected tax increase.

If approved, Proposal 2 would create a new 950 seat auditorium to support the district's performing arts programs while providing a large event space for school and community use. The projects would total $17 million with a 0.39 mill tax increase.

We are hopeful that we can improve our facilities for all of our future Cards! For more information on the bond proposal, be sure to check our website and email messages for updates.

Yours in partnership,

Terry Ann Whelan
